Whether I am on the XT1200Z in the Yukon…

The Victory Hammer in Bryce Canyon…

The Honda XR650L on the back roads of Vancouver Island…

or even the Trials bike…

Forty Years of riding has taught me that while travelling along new roads or trails, dealing with local habits and trying to locate hidden gems are some of the many decisions made during the day.

I have spent many hours looking at Maps and GPS units, plotting my adventures in unknown territory. The unknown can make trip planning a daunting task. Computerized mapping has made things easier, but local input is still the best way to enquire about the idiosyncrasies of any location.

Following a taillight that is familiar with a motorcycle friendly route has proven to be superior over staring at GPS & Map combinations at speed, which inadvertently take your eyes off the road and potential hazards.

My goal is to take the mystery out of our wonderful Island and to try to demonstrate as much of the ambience as possible in a safe & practical ride, maximizing your visit with us.
